As a charity our money comes from various sources such as membership subscriptions, Local funding, and sponsorship donations. We have a duty to ensure the IOMWFA funds are well-governed as the correct distribution will place us in a stronger position to get more people engaging in our programmes.

Our framework is a key element of our capability to support the existence of the IOMWFA and serve our members, ensuring that what we do has the greatest impact within the community.
Our Board of Trustees are responsible for all our functions including finance, ICT, GDPR Governance, walking football programmes and legal services. Therefore, we must ensure that our infrastructure, systems, processes, we need to operate are in place.

The IOMFA is a charity by Isle of Man Law and is committed to transparency, and has total commitment to correct administration to enable the work we carry out to be audited and accountable when the governing legislation requires and to always adhere to all legal and financial requirements at all times.
